TransferWise is more and more popular online platform which makes super easy sending money abroad. It’s not only super convenient but also very cost effective as fees are very small. I didn’t compare all banks available on the market but if I think how horrendous are fees in some banks, there might be a lot of truth in those marketing slogan!

Additionally to your Transfewise Borderless Account you can get completely for free Mastercard debit card. This is great option mainly for travellers. Every month you get up to 200£ free ATM withdrawals. You can withdraw wherever you want as long as ATM machine doesn’t says that bank fee applies and it might be high. In other situation you just pay very small conversion fee between 0.35% and 1% (conversion from pounds happen automatically) straight to Transferwise. Remember though to always DO NOT accept conversion rate which is offered by ATM machines! You can keep on your Borderless Account more than 40 different currencies.
