I’ve already introduced a few P2P lending platform but never mentioned about RateSetter. Additionally RateSetter refer a friend program gives you 100£ bonus if you’ve never invested with this platform! All you need to do is to invest £1000 for minimum 1 year using my link. I will explain all details a bit later. Firstly please let me introduce how RateSetter works and how you can invest your money.
RateSetter – minimum around 2.8%, maximum up to 5.4%
RateSetter facilitates lending to creditworthy individuals and businesses. The biggest risk to investors is that borrowers don’t repay – however, since launch in 2010 no individual investor has lost a penny thanks to our Provision Fund and stringent risk assessment of credit applications. Although past performance is not a guarantee for the future and capital is at risk.
You have 3 investments choices on RateSetter:
Rolling market – 2.8% – you can release your reinvestment anytime and there is no fee for early access
1 Year market – 3.0% – you can request to release your reinvestment early but there is a fee for early access (0.3%). Also it is possible you might have to wait for the repayments.
5 Year market – 5.4% – you can request to release your reinvestment early but there is a fee for early access (1.5%). Also it is possible you might have to wait for the repayments.
Please keep on mind that above rates might change in the future and they are valid for beginning of February 2019. You can also create ISA account which is also eligible for RateSetter refer a friend bonus.
Looking for the loan?
I was never in need to take a loan but you should know that’s also the option through RateSetter website. They offer very good rates. However, remember that loans don’t qualify into RateSetter refer a friend program and you won’t get a bonus that way!

- Invest through the RateSetter ISA or Everyday Account
